Choral singing in preschool age in perspective Kühn's Children's Choir

This work discusses the musical development of a child in preschool age and work on it, as well as how choral singing contributes to it. In the theoretical part of the work, you will find the basic developmental components that a child goes through in preschool age and how they should be worked on in order for the development to be balanced. Furthermore, the thesis deals with choir singing in preschool age, who is the choirmaster, what is his role in the choir and who is a member of the choir and how to become one. One of the main parts of the work is a discussion of Kühn's children's choir, which is one of the best choirs in Europe and is very close to me. Here you will find the history of the choir and information about its founder, Jan Kühn, after whom the choir is named. Part of my work is also the present day of the choir and its existing workers and today's activities.
Development of musical skills of preschool children in a montessori facility

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of musical skills in preschool children in Montessori institutions. The aim of this work is to provide a detailed view of the general Montessori pedagogy and its musical area, as well as to explore how this method can be used to develop musical skills in preschool children. In the theoretical part, the history and life of Maria Montessori are first described, followed by an explanation of the basic Montessori principles on which the philosophy is based. This is followed by a focus on child development and basic musical concepts associated with it. The theoretical part is concluded with an extensive chapter on the musical development of children and the musical area in the Montessori environment. The practical part is incorporated into the theoretical part of this work in the form of short reflections for greater clarity and empirical reflection of the issue. Comparison of postural function meaning of the preschool children singing expression

The diploma work is dealing with an influence of postural muscles on preschool children singing expression as weel as on connection between a posture and a breathe. The aim of this diploma work is not just a clarification of this issue, but primaliry it is an aspiration of creating a methodology of exercises, which leads to an improvement of children`s singing. Experimental part of this diploma work is concerned with a verification of created methodology on constant group of preschool children. An audio CD with records of children singing expressions, which confirms reached verdicts, is included.
Heritage of František Sedlák Within Disciplines of Didactics of Music Education and Music Psychology

TITLE: The Heritage of František Sedlák within Disciplines of Didactics of Music Education and Music Psychology. SUMMARY: The thesis deals with life and work of František Sedlák, who is known as a teacher, musicologist, choir conductor and musician. The objective of the thesis is to provide Sedlák's biography and give a thorough overview of all his publications. In his articles, papers and other publications, he writes mainly about musical development of a child, musical abilities and skills, psychology of music, problems of children's singing and didactics of music at primary schools. A separate chapter is dedicated to authentic memories of Sedlák's colleagues, which were collected specially for the purpose of this thesis. There is a CD appended to the thesis, where nearly all Sedlák's articles published in various professional journals can be found together with a few pictures from his life. The recorder and its use by a teacher in kindergarten

The subject of this thesis is the use of recorders in the hands of teachers in the implementation of the entire spectrum of musical activities in kindergarten. The theoretical part outlines the history of the recorder and its types. This part contains the musical development of a child aged 3 to 6 and its musical skills and abilities in this area, according to the Framework Education Program for Preschool Education and the curriculum formerly used. It also includes information on how current secondary pedagogical schools and higher vocational school of pedagogical are engaged in the education of future kindergarten teachers as for playing the recorder. The practical part describes action research in order to create a clear description of several musical units verified in practice. The first phase of the research covers the preparation and implementation of activities already published Mgr. Milena Kmentová, Ph.D. and MgA. Eva Nevoralová with final revision. Further, I will deal with developing and testing my own lessons in practice again with final reflection.
The influence of music and the development of musicality in children up to 6 years

The bachelor thesis describes the musical development of the child from the beginning of the mother's pregnancy to the age of six years. It focuses mainly on musical influences, which can be both positive and negative. The theoretical part is focused on explanation of basic terms, such as musicality, musical activities, musical abilities, skills, habits and talents, rhythmic feeling and music memory. The work also deals with the outline of musical activities in the child's life from birth to the end of pre-school education. In the practical part there are basic data about two different kindergartens, in which activities with children aged three to six years were realized. A brief description of these musical activities is also part of the work. The main aim of the thesis is to observe children during their musical activities and to develop their musicality. The work includes reflections and musical notes.
